C.A.R.E. Ministry Teams Meet Each Monday

The C.A.R.E (Christians Actively Reaching Everyone) Ministry meet each Monday. Each Monday evening at 6:30pm, a group of people will meet to choose a ministry task to complete as a family, in pairs or individually, such as visit the sick, write a letter to a missionary, pray for the efficacy of this ministry, distribute information to Socorro residents about our church's ministries, or surveying Socorro residents for their spiritual interest. Come out and use your unique spiritual gifts and skills to fulfill the Great Commission - to make disciples, to obey the Great Commandment - to love God and our neighbors and to fulfill our church's mission - to be a caring community of Christians. June 29th last session of Women's Bible Study of Esther
The last session of the Esther Bible study will be held on June 29th at 5:30pm. Dinner will be served. Please join us for a great time of fellowship.

- Saturday: Pre-Registration at homes with children
- Sunday Evening: 4th Annual Mission Fest
- Weekdays...
- Morning: Prayerwalking
- Afternoon: VBS in the Parks
- Evening: VBS at our Church + Parenting Class
We need....
- Hosts for each of the 6 families & their kids (see bulletin board at church)
- provide beds&/or space for sleeping bags
- provide breakfasts
- provide your hospitality
- VBS teachers, art, drama, craft, music leaders
- Advertising/Pre-registering
- Meals: We need people to help provide lunch for the NC team
- Prayerwalk leaders (you need to know Socorro on foot)

Lives Ablaze Summer Camp at Inlow June 28 - July 2

Sign up today for summer camp at Inlow June 28 to July 2, 2010! This summer camp is for ALL students who are currently in Middle School and High School. Cost is $180 per person, but we will do some fundraising and will provide scholarships. We also need adults (21+) to come along as chaperones (chaperones go free). Sign up today on the bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall!

We are starting to collect items for the 2010 Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes. Please bring your empty shoe boxes and for the month of June we will be collecting toys. Hopefully this will be the best year ever!

Women's Missionary Union meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday

Do you want to learn how to incorporate mission work into your every day life? Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday, the Women's Missionary Union meet in Emma's classroom at 9:30am for mission focus, bible study and prayer for missionaries all over the world. Summer Break - No Moms In Touch Meetings

After the summer break, Moms In Touch will meet in the fall on 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 10am.
Does you child or grandchild need prayer? Do you have a burden to pray for them as they deal with school, college or other challenges? Or do you fear for the children of this community? Any woman desiring to pray for a child is welcome to join us in the Fellowship Hall every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at 10am. See Miriam for more details.

Summer Break - No Witt's End Mom's Group Meetings

After summer break, the Witt's End Mom's group will meet in the fall on 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 10am.
Ever found yourself at the end of your rope? Come spend some time with other moms to laugh, learn and live, not just survive these years! The Witt's End Mom's Group will meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday at Jodie Owen's home at 10am. See Miriam, Jodie or Jenny for directions.

We're looking for anyone who would like to be a part of the church prayer chain. If you're interested, either contact the church office (575) 835-0041 or write your information on the tear-off portion of the bulletin and drop it in the offering plate during Sunday Services.
